Marco Mejia
Founder and CEO
Marco Mejia, Founder and CEO of Mejias Fine Builds, has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Marco has been part of every aspect imaginable in the building process; from dirt to doorknob. The Mission Statement and core values for his business, “With Care and Dedication”, come from his family ideals and ethics. His passion for construction began at a family member’s business doing projects as a young man, and then with more involvement, determination and determination, he honed his skills as a carpenter and crew leader. His love of carpentry and woodworking is inherited from his grandfather, who was a Master Craftsman. He implements these years of not only observing, but having first hand proactive experience and with the love of his craft, he now manages the many details of each project Mejia’s Fine Builds takes on; regardless of the size and scope. Marco has a meticulous eye for detail and does most of his own design while working side by side with clients and any additional designers. His personal commitment to excellence and working with his team ensures that every client’s expectations are not just achieved, they are exceeded.
Over the years, Marco has been able to build and maintain the fine balance of being the face of Mejias Fine Builds, while still being in the field, working side by side with his crew, staying involved in all aspects of day to day operations and ensuring his clients always have his full attention and clear communication. He takes pride in the entire process of a project. He loves working together with homeowners and is tirelessly devoted with regards to his commitment to them and ensuring they are completely involved and satisfied in the creation and fruition of their ultimate dream home.
Marco, his wife, Sintia, and their children live in Marin County. The two met in high school and have built Mejias Fine Builds from the ground up. They share a love of cooking and learning about the many wines that our region has to offer. As a family, the Mejias enjoy traveling, family gatherings, and going on adventures. They are also in the process of renovating their own dream home.
Before joining Mejias Fine Builds in August of 2021, Alex worked for a large food service/supply company in the East Bay for 17 years, where he started out as a delivery driver and tirelessly worked his way up the corporate ladder and following his love of numbers, eventually became their Accounting Manager.
In early 2021, Alex was sensing that it was time for a change and after much thought and contemplation, he decided to go work for his brother, Marco, and learn the construction business from the ground up, literally, and make Mejias Fine Builds a true family owned and operated business. Being able to work with his brother and bring his talent and years of experience, has been one of the best decisions Alex has ever made and he is excited to take the business to the next level for generations to come.
Alex is candid and careful, with an uncanny ability to take in all opinions, speak up for what’s fair and smart, and help unravel tangled ideas when the room is noisy. With his oversight, attention to detail, and knowing the importance of follow through, Mejia’s Fine Builds financial status stays true and clear.
When he isn’t crunching numbers or making spreadsheets, Alex and his husband, Beto, enjoy doing projects on their lovely home in the North Bay, traveling, cooking, BBQing and hosting events at their home. Alex is dedicated to the rights of animals and has rescued and homed many dogs and cats. He believes in the same core values for home and work; care and dedication.

Mariella Coello
Office Manager
Mariella started her career in construction when she joined Mejias Fine Builds in 2021, as Office Manager. She brings with her many years of experience in Marketing, Event Planning and Management at trade shows for nationally recognized brands to effectively prioritize tasks and possesses a keen sense of reliability and follow-through. She is a key point of contact with clients and is instrumental in soliciting quotes from vendors, subcontractors and various construction service teams and prepares forms such as Change Orders, Purchase Orders, Service Agreements and Subcontracts accordingly. She is a creative problem solver and remains calm under pressure while dealing with deadlines and project demands
Mariella lives in Berkeley and in her free time enjoys movies, music and exploring wine country. Her true passion is travel and learning about new cultures and bringing those experiences to her role at Mejias Fine Builds. As long as she has a passport and a carry-on, she will be off on her next adventure!
In 2013, Wilson answered an ad for a part-time construction laborer on Craigslist for Mejias Fine Builds, and that is how a career path was discovered and paved. There was an instant kinship between the two, and Marco could sense that Wilson not only had the eagerness to learn, but the drive and determination to succeed.
Under the tutelage of Mr. Mejia, Wilson has been trained in every aspect of the construction industry from foundation to roof. He took every assignment, from landscaping, painting, roofing, and framing and not only ran with it, he excelled. With his focus and attention to detail, Wilson is on his way to becoming a Master Craftsman.
Clients can be assured that when Wilson is on the project, it’s the same as having Marco there; he is dedicated to excellence and absolute is his commitment to every project.
Wilson lives in Marin County with his wife and daughter and they enjoy traveling around and discovering everything that Marin County has to offer.

Field Operations Manager
The Field Crew at Mejias Fine Builds is the best in the business; Aureillo Lopez, Auner Perez, Milton Saenz and son Steven Mejia. Studying under Founder Marco Mejia and Wilson Perez, Field Operations Manager, they are being educated in every aspect and detail of the construction industry. Their eagerness and excitement to learn about building is amazing. All our clients have nothing but compliments about our crew and can see their honesty and integrity.
