We took ages to find someone who we thought would give us undivided attention, skill and experience, and a fair price, and were delighted when we were introduced to Mejias Fine Builds. And the result is fantastic. We are happy with the final product, the process and the dedicated conviction that Marco, Wilson, Aurelio and all of the Mejias subs showed as they tackled our house project as if it was their own.
Marco was also very accommodating as we chose to be involved or not for each detail throughout. He very ably filled the gaps (with pictures of ideas from previous work) when we left decisions completely to him, and offered thoughtful recommendations when we took charge of a particular element. He combines a solid sense (and first-hand knowledge) of structural need with design aesthetic, and has very good management of his staff and subs to execute. Of worthy note is his keen sense to cost tracking - if I did have questions as he presented invoices, he had immediate answers and paperwork.
I should also mention that we lived through the experience and Marco and his team showed great consideration at the end of each workday by making sure that our shell (!) was as habitable as possible. Oh, and he finished our project right on time!

I had a very bad leak in my dining room windows. I had people calk to no avail. I have a friend who had a similar problem, and was very satisfied with the work. She gave me Marco’s name and I contacted him. He came over with his workers and did complete water testing at leaky window. Him and his team discovered the leak, which was coming from a defective glass panel. They left as window was wet from water testing and came back the next day to treat the window by cleaning, scraping off old paint and caulking, resealed with new adequate sealant and primed and painted exterior window frame and trim outs as well as the inside. Marco and his team came back a couple of days later and thoroughly water tested window once again. NO MORE WATER COMING IN. I recommend Marco (Mejias Fine Builds) highly. He is very professional, punctual and a pleasure to do business with.
